Absa Bank Botswana, De Beers, and Stanford Launch Seed Transformation Program for African Entrepreneurs. Absa Bank Botswana, in collaboration with De Beers Group and the Stanford Graduate School of Business, is inviting founders and CEOs of established businesses in Africa to apply for the Seed Transformation Program (STP). The initiative is designed to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) scale and grow through structured learning and mentorship.
The 10-month program combines in-person and online learning, led by Stanford Graduate School of Business faculty, local experts, and Stanford-trained advisors. Participants will engage in class sessions and workshops, gaining strategic skills and methods to expand their businesses.
Eligible applicants must be founders or CEOs of for-profit businesses based in Africa, with an annual revenue between US $300,000 and $15 million and a management team that includes at least two additional members besides the CEO or founder.
The program provides business leaders with an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and develop strategies to support business growth. Participants will gain exposure to tools and frameworks that may help them navigate challenges and improve operations.By facilitating access to the Seed Transformation Program, Absa Bank Botswana, De Beers Group, and Stanford Graduate School of Business aim to support businesses across Africa in acquiring skills to pursue growth opportunities.
