Miss Botswana Opens Call for District Franchise Proposals for 2025 Pageant. The Miss Botswana Organization has officially announced an open call for proposals from individuals and organizations interested in becoming district franchise holders for the Miss Botswana 2025 competition. Released on 5 March 2025, the invitation seeks partners to manage district-level competitions ahead of the national event.

As part of its expansion, the organization aims to establish 30 district-level competitions across the country. Each district winner will advance to the top 40 of the national Miss Botswana competition. This initiative is designed to provide a broader platform for showcasing talent from various regions of Botswana.

According to the announcement, district franchise holders will oversee all aspects of their local competitions. Key responsibilities include contestant recruitment, event planning, compliance with Miss Botswana/Miss World Botswana standards, and coordination with the Botswana Council of Women on community development projects. Franchise holders are also required to be members of ABICOB and must attend a mandatory pageantry short course scheduled for May 2025.

In return, the Miss Botswana Organization will offer technical support and resources to ensure alignment with national standards. Additionally, a grant will be provided to help district winners participate in the national Top 40 Boot Camp.

Interested parties are required to submit detailed proposals outlining their experience, competition plans, and budgets by 31 March 2025. Proposals must be sent electronically to [email protected]. The selection committee will review all submissions, with successful applicants to be notified by 30 April 2025.

For further inquiries, the organization has provided contact emails: [email protected] and [email protected].

This opportunity is aimed at individuals and organizations passionate about event management and the empowerment of women, marking a significant step toward greater national representation in the Miss Botswana pageant.
