Young entrepreneur Mosetsana Magunga is making waves in the hair care industry with her growing business, Mosgaga, which specializes in manufacturing high-quality hair wigs. Her journey from hairstyling enthusiast to business owner was fueled by her participation in the Tokafala Youth Development Programme, an initiative designed to empower young entrepreneurs and help them turn their skills into sustainable businesses.
With the training and mentorship provided by Tokafala, Mosetsana developed a solid business plan and successfully secured funding from the Youth Development Fund (YDF). She has since registered her business and is actively working on branding strategies to break into the retail market.
The Tokafala programme, launched by Debswana in partnership with the Government of Botswana, De Beers, and Anglo American, aims to support the growth of small, micro, and medium-sized enterprises (SMMEs) in Botswana. By providing mentorship, financial guidance, and business development support, Tokafala is helping young entrepreneurs like Mosetsana contribute to economic growth and job creation in the country.
