Digital Natives Pty Ltd was crowned the overall winner, taking home the prestigious grand prize of P75,000 for their groundbreaking solution that promises to revolutionize Botswana’s housing sector. Their innovative approach was praised for its scalability and potential to address critical housing challenges.
Claiming the second-place prize of P50,000, Mavericks Pty Ltd impressed judges with a dynamic solution that integrated technology with sustainable housing practices. Their concept demonstrated a forward-thinking approach to housing development.
In third place, Segaise Pty Ltd earned P30,000 for their unique and impactful project, which focused on enhancing urban living through smart technology.
The hackathon, organized by BHC, was designed to foster innovation and generate solutions to improve housing affordability, urban planning, and sustainable living. Speaking at the event, BHC officials emphasized the importance of embracing technology to meet the growing housing demands in Botswana.
