Botswana Savings Bank Engages Charles Hill District on Financial Accessibility. Botswana Savings Bank (BSB) is taking steps to improve financial accessibility and economic empowerment in Charles Hill. During a recent engagement with the Charles Hill District Council, BSB’s Head of Retail Banking & Sales, Mr. Obusitswe Keabaitse, presented key initiatives aimed at expanding banking services and supporting local development.
One of the key discussions centered around the BSB Housing Initiative, a program designed to provide affordable housing solutions through long-term lease agreements. The initiative aims to support regional development by making homeownership more accessible.
Keabaitse also highlighted BSB’s market-leading savings products, which offer tax-free interest. These savings solutions position Botswana Savings Bank as a preferred choice for individuals looking to grow their wealth effectively.
A major highlight of the engagement was S’kgwama Agency Banking, a service that will allow residents of Charles Hill to access BSB banking services through local agents. This initiative is expected to reduce travel distances and provide a more convenient banking experience for rural communities.
BSB is also calling on interested dealers to join as agency banking partners, further expanding financial inclusion across the district.
