BPC CEO Cycling Challenge Powers Up Mogobame Inclusive Centre with Solar Borehole. The Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) CEO Cycling Challenge continues to drive positive change, with its latest initiative delivering a lasting contribution to the Mogobame Inclusive Centre. As part of the event’s activities, a 5.5kW solar-powered borehole was officially donated to the centre, providing a sustainable water source to support their agricultural efforts.

The borehole is set to play a crucial role in irrigating the centre’s vegetable garden, which supplies fresh produce for both daily use and local sales. With this new system in place, the centre is expected to increase its food production, strengthening its capacity to support its community and reinforcing its goals of self-sufficiency.

The Mogobame Inclusive Centre offers support to members of the community, and the addition of the solar-powered borehole aligns with broader efforts to improve food security while promoting renewable energy solutions. The use of solar power ensures that the water system is energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, demonstrating how sustainable technology can be integrated into everyday community projects.

The BPC CEO Cycling Challenge has become known not only as a physical endurance event but also as a platform to promote social responsibility. With a focus on making meaningful contributions, the challenge supports projects that address local needs and encourage long-term development.
