BTC Acting CEO Engages Trade Minister on Community Development Initiatives. Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC) Acting CEO, Ms. Boitumelo Paya, met with the Minister of Trade & Entrepreneurship, Hon. Tiroyaone Ntsima, during a courtesy visit to discuss BTC’s ongoing corporate social initiatives in Francistown.
During the meeting, Paya outlined BTC’s contributions to local development, highlighting key projects aimed at supporting healthcare and community welfare. One of the major initiatives she emphasized was the renovation of the Jubilee Psychiatric Ward, a project aimed at improving mental healthcare services in the region.
Additionally, she discussed BTC’s commitment to supporting local councils through the BTC Francistown Marathon, an event that has facilitated various donations to uplift the community.
The engagement underscored BTC’s dedication to corporate social responsibility, reinforcing its role in fostering economic and social progress.
