BTC Expands Presence with New Store Opening in Francistown. Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC) has officially opened a new store at Blue Jacket Plaza in Francistown, further strengthening its commitment to providing accessible telecommunications and financial services to the community.

The launch event was attended by His Worship the Mayor of Francistown, Gaone Majere, former Mayor Sylvia Muzila, Kgosi Papukani Makambe, and Ms. Lerato Ramponye, Acting Branch Manager of Old Mutual Botswana (Francistown), along with BTC customers and other stakeholders.

BTC’s new store will offer a wide range of services, including SMEGA mobile money solutions, Karabo Funeral Cover, E-SIM registrations, and high-speed internet connections. This expansion aims to enhance digital accessibility and financial inclusion in Francistown and surrounding areas.

Speaking at the event, BTC representatives expressed their excitement about serving the local community and reaffirmed their commitment to customer-centric innovation.The opening of this store aligns with BTC’s broader strategy of expanding its footprint across Botswana, ensuring that more citizens have access to essential digital and financial services.
