The Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO) is inviting event promoters to submit their events for inclusion in the prestigious 2025 Botswana Annual Events Calendar. This initiative aims to showcase Botswana’s vibrant cultural, entertainment, and tourism events to both local and international audiences.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for listing, events must meet the following requirements:
• Annual Occurrence: The event should occur every year, ideally around the same time.
• Standalone Nature: Events must be distinct and self-contained.
• Commitment Agreement: Event promoters must sign a document committing to ensure the event takes place as scheduled. If the event cannot proceed, the promoter must inform BTO promptly for de-listing.
Submission Requirements
Promoters must include the following details:
• Event Profile: A 50-word description summarizing the nature of the event, its participants, spectators, and economic activities surrounding it.
• Logistical Details: Venue (town or village), event date, and contact information (telephone and email).
• Complete Profile: Submissions missing any of the above details will not be considered.
