Gambling Authority Showcases Industry Leadership at 11th BiG Africa Summit. The 11th Annual Betting & iGaming Africa Summit (BiG) commenced on Tuesday at the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC), bringing together key stakeholders in the gaming and betting industry. The event runs until Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Since its establishment in 2014, the BiG Africa Summit has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of legal remote gaming and betting across Southern Africa. The summit was officially opened by the Honourable Minister of Trade and Entrepreneurship, Mr. Tiroeaone Ntsima, who emphasized Botswana’s commitment to economic diversification through a well-regulated and thriving gaming sector.
