Global Athletics Stars Set to Shine at FNB Botswana Golden Grand Prix 2025. The countdown is on for one of Africa’s most anticipated athletics events, the FNB Botswana Golden Grand Prix 2025, set to take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Fans can expect a thrilling display of world-class talent as record-breaking athletes arrive in Gaborone to compete on one of the fastest tracks in the region.
Among the headline stars is Botswana’s very own Letsile Tebogo, who will be racing on home soil, aiming to cement his status as one of the sport’s elite sprinters. He will be joined by global icons including Wayde van Niekerk, the 400m world record holder, Marie-Josée Ta Lou, one of Africa’s fastest women, and Dalilah Muhammad, an Olympic gold medalist and former 400m hurdles world record holder.
