Minister Mmolotsi to Engage Communities and Launch Sedudu-Ngoma 24-Hour Transit Route. Minister of Environment and Tourism, Hon. Boipuso W. Mmolotsi, is set to hold Kgotla meetings in various communities as part of efforts to engage with the public on environmental and tourism matters. The meetings, scheduled for March 31 and April 1, 2025, will provide a platform for residents to discuss key issues affecting their areas.
The scheduled meetings will take place as follows:Parakarungu – March 31 at 09:00 AMMabele – March 31 at 2:30 PMKazungula – April 1 at 09:00 AM
In addition to the community engagements, Minister Mmolotsi will officially launch the Sedudu-Ngoma Transit Route 24-Hour Operation on April 1 at 2:30 PM at Sedudu Gate. This initiative marks a significant milestone in improving transit and tourism connectivity within the region.
The Sedudu-Ngoma Transit Route is a critical corridor facilitating movement between Botswana and neighboring countries, particularly benefiting tourism and trade. By transitioning to 24-hour operations, the route is expected to enhance cross-border travel, economic activities, and regional integration.
